Cortado
Ever wondered how to make a cortado? Here's a quick step by step on how to make this espresso drink. Fun fact : cortado is also called gibraltar in certain regions.
Grind fresh coffee
A cortado is usually a double shot of espresso, which requires 18g of coffee.
It is important to use freshly roasted coffee like LG's coffee (roasted on demand and shipped directly).

Pull a double shot of espresso.
You should typically aim for a 2:1 ratio, which translates to 36g of coffee in your cup (if you started with 18g in your portafilter).
Froth milk
Froth your milk and aim for a rich and smooth foam. The microfilm shouldn't be full of bubbles, or very foamy (i.e. cappuccino milk). It should blend in your espresso and allow for nice "latte" art.
Milk to espresso ratio : 2oz of coffee with 2oz of milk
