Latte
Ever wondered how to make a latte? Here's a quick step by step on how to make this espresso drink. Fun fact : the name "latte" comes from the Italian word Caffellatte, which actually means "milk coffee".
Grind fresh coffee
A latte is usually a double shot of espresso, which requires 18g of coffee.
It is important to use freshly roasted coffee like LG's coffee (roasted on demand and shipped directly).

Pull a double shot of espresso.
You should typically aim for a 2:1 ratio, which translates to 36g of coffee in your cup (if you started with 18g in your portafilter).
Froth milk
Froth your milk and aim for a rich and smooth foam. The microfilm shouldn't be full of bubbles, or very foamy (i.e. cappuccino milk). It should blend in your espresso and allow for nice "latte" art.
The ratio of espresso to milk in a latte is typically around 1:3 or 1:4, depending on personal preferences. With 2oz of espresso, you should use 6 to 8oz of milk.
